Re: How easy do you find Adrift V5?

A new, up-to-date Help Guide would be great. I'm a beginner (joined in 2011, but never used the program until now) and so I decided to work thru the examples in the guide, only to find out the info there has many errors, pertains to a previous version of Adrift, and all of the screenshots are from ...

Re: Put object ON character?

Ok, but same principle. The library will assume any character is responsive and will give default behaviour responses such as not being interested, ignoring you etc. You'd have to be sure to override all those with sensible responses.

Re: What is wrong with this picture?

How did you define objects fuse box and fuse switch? I tried this and got the following, making certain assumptions about how you defined them:

Code: Select all

> look at fuse box
There is nothing special about the fuse box. The fuse box is currently open. Inside the fuse box is a fuse switch.

Re: Put object ON character?

I'd have thought it better to replace the character with an object, if they're dead. Otherwise you need to worry about all the existing character functionality, such as talking to them, giving them things etc.

Re: 5.0.36 out now

What differences have you made codewise between V5.0.35 and V5.0.36 Campbell? AVG had no trouble with previous versions of ADRIFT. Which version of 5.0.36 did you download? I packaged 5.0.36.1 differently, in the hope that it would trigger less false positives, but 5.0.36.2+ were using the same met...

No, you could either click on "Quick Reply" immediately underneath the last message, which then opened the dialogue box as is now open already under the message, or click on the "Reply to Topic" (I think) button, which would open a reply box with the full editor. I much preferred it that way. I've ...

Done now. If you go to your User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit display options, there should be a new option: Use maxiumum width. Turning that on will use the full browser width.
