Re: Is Anyone Still Writing ADRIFT Games?
I kind of have to agree with David on this one. ADRIFT 5 feels like I'm trying to pilot a giant, heavy mech with miniguns and missile launchers while ADRIFT feels like an AK mounted on a bicycle. Sure I can't do much with ADRIFT 4 compared to ADRIFT 5 but at least I'm able to move a bit faster.

Re: InsideADRIFT: Name change?
I find it hilarious both the current title and the title that Duncan wanted to change it too can both be taken as sexual references.
Just saying.

Re: Auto-menu
Can we make it so that this can be disabled? I have nothing against it but it may be something you'd want to turn off.

Just wrote something. It's on the way to you Duncan. It's linear but it's a story.

There should be an app that makes this easier; I just can't remember the name of it to save my life.

Re: Ectocomp
Missed. FFFFFFFFF. So little time, so little motivation.
I plan on trying to get my head around making a Halloween themed...thing though. I need to get acquainted with ADRIFT 5.

I still argue for something we can integrate with an IRC server. Just saying.

So I tried making my game...and failed. Hard. Spent 8 hours on it already and not even close.

Possible to overwrite "wait/z" command?
The game I wanted to do for Ectocomp requires a fair amount of waiting, but I can't modify how the wait command works in order to do so, or reference it in an event or task (for example, failing the player if they wait too long
). Have I done something wrong/missed something?

Hi again guys.
I didn't mean to leave the way I did, which was completely unexpectedly, I just never found the time to return to this forum, and eventually forgot you existed. :( But Duncan sent me a message about Ectocomp 2011 and it totally surprised me. I came back, and...let's just say the warm feelings I got ...
