In Steps for movement these work like events triggered by a task running. However it seems if you have several NPC's with a movement/walk setup and that all of them has the same task set to trigger, all of the NPC's who have a movement
will begin their walk not just one npc. But what if you only want one npc to walk?
eg.
I created a task to ask a character to patrol locations, that task is for any character and is also the start trigger for the steps.
Is there a way to only have one specific npc start their walk? eg. you tell any single npc to go to patrol only their walk triggers.
I think perhaps there needs to be a restriction added to a trigger in movement so you can have more control? so in my example above, the task to ask the npc to patrol still would the trigger in the steps, but being able to add a variable restriction to filter out those who weren't asked, or there might be a group of npc that have been put in a group by player and they have to patrol.
Having a general over all restriction like in a task might limit things if there is several different tasks that could be a trigger.
A second question i have is using Group locations in Steps, if you want all locations in that group visited, lets say there are five locations in the group how many times do you have to add the same location group in steps in order for all of the locations to be visited? Would it needed to be added five times?
Cheers
