Accessing default tasks

Postby ParadoxGames » Mon Jun 06, 2016 1:58 am

I want tot change restrictions in default tasks. I don't know how to access them. I'm sure it's something simple. Please help. Where do I find them? I'm using 5.0.35

Never mind. I found it!

For those who are new to ADRIFT, even less experienced than I am (which means you're just starting out), here's how to do it:

Click "Settings". Under the "librartes" tab, uncheck the box marked "hide library items". They appear as a folder when you click View > Folder List

Before you start changing the library, it might be a good idea to make a copy of the library file. Rename the copy to show the game it applies to, then include it instead of the standard library.

That is not necessary Jjbee62.
When you create a new game the standard library is copied into the .TAF file of your game.
Any changes you make are made to that copy.
It never alters the actual StandardLibrary.amf file.

That's good to know since I didn't follow my own advice.
