Like the subject says, Avira (most recent libraries) picks up both as having the Dropper.MSIL.Gen2 trojan. Just wanted to let folks know, since there has been some problems in the past with false positives and such.

How about with version 5.0.35.3? There was a patch yesterday.

Good to know. I use BitDefender and I haven't had false positive problems with it so far.

Neither Avast on my home PC, nor Norton on my work laptop, report any infections in these two applications when scanned.

I use Norton Anti-virus and get both of them flagged as well when i go to run them after updating Adrift, but I am able to restore them and tell Norton to ignore them.

Using Avast on my pc, no problems. I even ran a second scan just to make sure.

It's frustrating. It's the software I use to package ADRIFT that's causing the false positives. My guess is the same software has been used by writers of viruses and so it has similar signatures. Rest assured, ADRIFT is clean. However, I think I will try to find a different packager for the next release.
