What other interpreters can play ADRIFT 5 blorbs?

Postby BBBen » Wed Jul 13, 2016 10:56 pm

I'm not very clear on what interpreters are available currently for ADRIFT 5 blorb files and what their functionality is. Will they run on Mac/Unix/whatever? Will they play multimedia files (images, gifs, audio)? Will they display the text in the same way?

Does anyone have this information?

I don't think there are others that can. As you know Adrift has it's own which is added to it (you probably already know what Adrift's Runner interpreter can do) when you export a game as an executable (inc your images and sounds). I believe Adrift games can be hosted/played in browser form too, but i've never tried so i don't know much about that.

There is a "mono" version of the runner for Linux, on the download page.
This should also work on a Mac which has "Mono for Mac" installed on it.
