Weird behavior with wildcard in converstation topics

Postby ice_wanted » Mon Sep 05, 2016 12:35 am

Hi,
I came across a weird behavior using a wildcard as a keyword in the conversion topics. Check out the attached TAF file and let me know if this is normal behavior or not. I was able to bypass the problem by adding a "Leave conversation" action to each (wildcard) conversation topic, but it may not work for every scenario.

The issue:
After adding a conversion topic with a wildcard for character#1. Every time you switch conversation from the character#1 to character#2, the wildcard topic (from character#1) will display even thought you are now talking to character#2.

How to reproduce using the TAF
Text is color coded - Mary is red, Bob is blue and Player is green.

-Normal behavior (without wildcard)
ask bob about weather, ask mary about weather, ask bob about weather, etc..

-Weird behavior (with wildcard)
ask me about weather, ask bob about weather (wrong reply!). Ask me about weather, ask mary about weather (wrong again!)

Thanks. It's incorrectly kicking in as a passive farewell. This should be fixed in the next release.
