Describing a room after moving player into it in a task...

Postby TrippyJing » Sat Oct 08, 2016 8:11 pm

Normally, when a player moves into a room for the first time, the name and description will be displayed.

However, if I were to teleport them into a room using a task, that would not happen. Is there a way to do it?

Just add 'Execute task "LOOK"' to your movement/teleport task as the last action so that the LOOK is performed on the new location.

If you have the setting to show library tasks turned on, you can look at the the player movement task to see how it is done, which is done, as R2T1 said, by having the execute task look as a task action after the player has been moved.
