Hi Lazzah,
I don't know what happened to the original posts :? (in quote below), but I was wondering if you ever managed to find an answer? I did see something similar in a post last Feb,here, though not sure if it is exactly what you were after.

Hi R2,

Thanks for your reply. No it wasn't that, I checked. I think it might've been when I created a new character and was asked if I wanted to replace %CharacterName[%character%]% with the name of the character. Instead of clicking No, I clicked Yes. I suppose one walkaround would be to use text overrides, but surely there must be a way to reverse this?

Looks like you've changed the perspective from 2nd person to 3rd person. Check OPTIONS/GENERAL - Player Perspective dropdown.
If its not that, you'll have to wait for someone more knowledgeable than me.

Hi R2T1,

I thought it might've been that, but when I checked the setting, it was on "Never".

Anyway, I got around it using a text override so everything looks OK now.

Thanks for that. I was interested to know as I have been trying to use similar constructs for a few of the things I have been doing in my conversion from BASIC to ADRIFT.
