In possession of

Postby P/o Prune » Thu Sep 26, 2019 11:19 am

I have just thought of something.
Wouldn't it be possible to create a property called "in possession of" ?
As it is now you have the choice of either holding or wearing an object (say a necklace). This gives you more work when you have a task where the restriction is that the player is in possession of the necklace, and it doesn't matter if s/he is holding or wearing it.

I could probably do it with a variable but then I would have to remember to reset that variable if the player drops the necklace and then set the variable when the player picks up the necklace again.

Nice idea.

'Visible to' has always been too broad to be all that useful, but anything like this that means less clicking will help..

You could use an expression restriction:
%object%.Parent="Player"
This tests if the parent of the referenced object is the player character and works for both worn and held.
