How to customise ..character doesnt appear to understand..

Postby DazaKiwi » Fri Apr 17, 2020 11:21 pm

Is there anyway to have your own output when the player tries to ask or tell a character about a topic that does not exist? The default output is "character doesn't appear to understand you." Of course i could use an override text, but only want to be able to have a different output for some characters and also be able to mix up what it says with oneOf etc.

I have looked at the conversation tasks and it seems that output is hidden.

Any ideas for a work around?

You can use alternate restrictions with text overrides so you should be able to use restrictions like "The player character must be in conversation with Arya" to change the output. (I'm not on windows at the moment so I can't check it works).
