Sophie's Adventure - v4: 525; v5: 696
City in Fear - v4: 242; v5: 318
A Spot of Bother - v4: 110; v5: 163
Cowboy Blues - v4: 109; v5: 154
Regrets - v4: 10; v5: 30

The first four games all became between 31% and 48% larger while the fifth increased by 200%. The fifth game is much smaller than the others and I'm guessing most of that extra 200% file size it gained is simply extra base files in v5 that v4 didn't have. So by the look of things, v5 games are on average roughly 40% larger than v4 games.

It seems to me that your experiment was successful! :yeah:

So, I assume it's like a x(y) +z, where x is the original file size, Y is a percentage of increase, and z is a base increase due to the library size increase. Just a guess.

You'd probably need a much bigger sample than the five games I used to say for certain. Even in the small sample I used, there was an oddity. A Spot of Bother was originally 110kb under v4 and 163kb under v5 (an increase of 53kb) whereas Cowboy Blues went from 109kb under v4 to 154kb under v5 (an increase of just 45kb). For two games which were originally very, very close to the same size under v4 (just 1kb difference, which works out at a few hundred words), you'd expect them to be roughly the same size under v5, yet one was 9kb bigger than the other.
