What's happened to David W?

Postby shisoshima » Wed Mar 27, 2019 3:34 pm

I'm just curious...
Has David abandoned the Adrift society altogether?
It's been ages since I've seen a comment from him.

I hope you are still here Mr . Shiso

Bloodhounds can make you laugh and cuss in the same breath. They are endearing, faithful, and can sling drool ten feet in any direction. -- Virginia Lanier

I'm still around, but I haven't posted much lately. Then again, there's not been a whole lot of discussion on the forum for ages now, so it's not like I really have much to post about. I still dabble in ADRIFT and have several different games in progress, but I'm not sure whether any of them will ever see the light of day.

This place has felt a lot like "last one out turn off the light," for a while.
Currently working on "The Blank Wall" in ADRIFT 5 and "Again and Again" in Inform 7.

Yes, looks a bit deserted doesn't it?
Well, I'm still here… Working on my entry for this years IF Comp.
I have been in touch with Campbell every now and then and he has "threatened" to release an update, so let's hope for the best.

I'm not much of a talker on the forum but I'm nearing completion of a game that is quite likely to be among the largest Adrift games in terms of pure text and,I hope, replay value. It's also going up for IFCOMP and I except to have a working alpha by June

I talk to Theo about his game every day on the Discord and sometimes Daza too, I just don't have a lot to post about since I'm not playing or writing IF right now. Once I'm able to switch gears to firing up the generator again I'll likely have some questions, I'm pretty rusty with writing these things.
