It helps to use a text editor that shows line numbers, then you can get a better idea of where to look when you are trying to fix things yourself.

Exactly, Especially for this type of problem.

The other type of issue that has arisen in the past is the "off by one task/object" issue. This one doesn't cause a direct crash; but rather a "scratch one's head in wonder for several hours" while attempting to figure out why something doesn't work.

So you're left checking the module references to figure out where the taf is "mispointing".

Thank you David, laptop tech, Mystery, et al. The "ding" taf works fine.

I really do appreciate it; and I have had other help from the forum members in the past on how to do some sort of thing from time to time, but this is certainly the first time anyone has fixed a messed up taf and explained what might have been the cause.

I will remember this help you've given and not be so exasperated in the future.

Glad it is fixed, have you add it to the ADRIFT bugs list as it is the best way to try and squash this once and for all.

Yes, please do. Also, if you get these types of errors, I'd appreciate if you could send me a copy. I try very hard to get back to everyone who emails me so if I don't it is not intentional.
