I wasn't sure about this either, but then I checked out the "Anyone in the mood for a comp?" to see what they did then.

At least then authors were supposed to e-mail the games to Po. Prune, who bundled them in a zip-file and uploaded to an ADRIFT competition page.
Hopefully Po. Prune will confirm this.

Thus I have just e-mailed my game to him.

His address can be found here.

I've sent mine to the e-mail address. Looks like there should be at least three entries to the comp.

Any idea when the games are going to be uploaded? The deadline was 4 days ago now and there's still no sign of them.

The Games for the "Beginner's Game Competition" has been uploaded.
They are, in no specific order, as follow:

Kenneth Pedersen: The Tartarus Project: http://www.adrift.co/game/1483

Dazakiwi: The Last Expedition: http://www.adrift.co/game/1485

David Whyld: Trick or Treat: http://www.adrift.co/game/1486 (Written in Adrift 4. --- Runner to be found here: http://www.adrift.co/download )

Give them a go and don't forget to vote.
Since the game has been uploaded a little late, the voting deadline has been postponed to September 15.

Great!

Where do we vote? E-mail our votes to you or post them on the forum? And what voting system do we use - 1 to 10 or something similar?

I believe David's game has been written using ADRIFT4 - should this not be mentioned and a link to the ADRIFT4 Runner given?
OUT NOW: Run, Bronwynn, Run!
Current W.I.P.: Magnetic Moon
Also available: The Axe of Kolt, The Spectre of Castle Coris, The Fortress of Fear, Die Feuerfaust - The Fist of Fire and The Lost Children

A question for voting everyone gets 1 vote..should it be stated by a rule that authors of the games submitted cannot vote for their own game? (i would think this would be without saying but perhaps need to be clarified?) unless voting system in the past has allowed authors to vote for their own game. I probably wouldn't make a heck a lot of difference but in a case of a draw might do.

Also just a request, if anyone could save a transcript of my game and send it to me it would be appreciated, i would be interested to know what players tried and where i might of failed expected input or commands. I will also do this for the two other entries if the authors would like my play through transcripts? for same reasons, always helps to make better games in future.

I think it's kind of an unspoken rule that authors don't vote for their own games.

I'd quite like a transcript if possible. I'll be doing transcripts of the other games myself.
