Beginner's Game Competition Vote

Postby P/o Prune » Sun Aug 06, 2017 5:12 pm

Alright... here it is..

Cast your vote and don't be afraid... We won't hold it against you (much  )
Checking in on the Beginner's Game Competition posts I noticed a few remarks and suggestions.

As said there: It goes without saying that you aren't allowed to vote on your own game.

As David so delicately put it ... The voting ended at August 31st and the result of the competition should have been published shortly there after.
Well, I guess that this is "shortly after" The winner is.......
Kenneth Pedersen: "The Tartarus Project"

Congrats Kenneth.
Drop me a line as to how you want your prize money.

A little disappointing that only 3 people voted, considering that these weren't any lengthy games.

Congrats on winning, Kenneth.

Yes, disappointing about so few votes but not entirely unsurprising given the usual track record around here for competitions. One of the votes was mine and I'm guessing the other authors also voted... so does that mean no one else bothered?

I hate to think so. But I'm afraid you're right.
Sometimes it's hard to find the will to go on.... But I'd hate to see this go down the drain (more than it is already)

Thanks :)

Yes, it is a shame that people did not vote - that would have been fun. There were 16-17 downloads per game, so hopefully people gave the games a try.
