Just spotted a call for digital fiction (which includes interactive fiction) for the 2nd annual Digital Fiction Writing Competition. Cash prizes and entries close 15 March 2018.

Dang the prize on that actually looks really tempting, but there's no way I could have anything done by that deadline.

Apparently it doesn't have to be new; I asked. Something released in the last year would be acceptable.

Thanks for the heads up on that Rotter. I did notice it said "we are seeking entries of works that are broadly accessible, both in terms of intended audience and device compatibility." so i guess if we entered an Adrift game we would have to host it online in browser form to make it more accessible as that might be part of the judging as well. Is online hosting for adrift games via browser currently available? I probably wouldn't be able to make anything in time, but if they have the same prizes next year then worth thinking about for following year.

I might be interested... but that 15th March deadline is a little tight. Maybe next year.

Bah, humbug! World War 3 will have come and gone before you get that D-Day game finished :) And Anno 1700 needs renaming Anno 2700 because that's its likely release date :)

Cutting sarcasm. You can't beat it.
