Anyone speak German?

Postby David Whyld » Tue Oct 04, 2011 5:40 pm

Someone called Martin Barth has kindly written reviews of the ADRIFT entries in this year's IFComp at http://blog.ifwizz.de/archives/257-IF-C ... views.html

... but they're in German and I don't understand a word of it. I tried running them through Babelfish to see what it came up with but the translation is a little lacking. Does anyone speak enough German to tell whether he's saying anything nice or not?

Google translate seems to do a reasonable job - enough to get the gist anyway. Is it allowed to upload reviews before the end?

Ah thanks. That seems to do a better job of Babelfish. I can at least understand what he's saying now.

I think you're allowed to upload reviews at any time if you're not an author. Us authors have to wait till the comp is over or risk being disqualified.
