Saabie

As some of you may have noticed, Saabie has been absent for quite some time.
I have just had an email from him in case you were wondering where he'd gone.

"I didn't realise it had been so long.
We have had so many disasters here this year to keep me busy that I
have not had time to do much else.
We still haven't even replaced all the damaged fences from the
bushfire last December, then we had the virus, I got a stomach ulcer,
our car broke down (twice) and last week a contractor that was coming
to do some fences was run over by a tractor and broke both legs.

I have not forgotten about you all and will try to get back to ADRIFT
as soon as possible.
Best regards, saabie."

And a follow up this morning:

"I am aiming to get back to the ADRIFT forum in the next couple of days,
as long as nothing else happens...
Best regards, saabie."

This hasn’t been a good year for drifters. I’m currently in hospital having suffered a stroke a few months ago and while I’m likely to make a full recovery there’s no chance of finishing my ifcomp in time. Hopefully next year will be a better one.

I'm due to be released on 3rd October so hopefully things will return to normal then.

It's awkward typing because I only have my left hand and I'm right handed so it takes forever to type anything. So I'll be holding off typing much until my right hand is better.
