Not this year I'm afraid. :(
I'm too busy working on a couple of other games. But It would be a great opportunity for any newcomer. The intro comp isn't about a full fledged game, so I strongly urge people to enter. Give it a shot.
D-Day V.5 in progress 79Kb so far (slowly getting there)

I have too much going on to focus on actually making an ADRIFT game at the moment, but I definitely encourage anyone working on a game, thinking about making a game, or thinking about thinking about a game to write and submit something for this event. Your game will be played at Club Floyd, which gives incredible exposure to a wide cross-section of well versed and connected members of the Interactive Fiction Community. Get people excited about your writing. You want to make yours a game people will keep an eye out for. IntroComp is a great opportunity for you.

I thought so too. His game is, for me, the best of the bunch as well!

Can't go any further north, cant get past the gate and the trap door is most vexing. Apart from a little description bug with the wooden/metal panel I'm keen to go back for more later tonight.

By the way David does SADI have an older sister

Anyone voting on this? Just one week left, but it's only a handful of games and (naturally) they're all pretty short.

I don't know how many of you keep abreast of the goings on in the rest of the IF world, but the results of the IntroComp 2013 were announced yesterday, firstly on IF Mud then on the Intfiction forum. I just thought I'd mention them here (for obvious reasons :) ) if anyone's interested.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's IntroComp. The results are as follows:

1st Place — Best Laid Plans, by David Whyld
2nd Place — Akkoteaque, by A C
3rd Place — The Vanishing Conjurer, by Marshal Tenner Winter

Honorable Mentions:
(In alphabetical order)
* The Example of the Chicken Sexer, by Simon Christiansen
* First, by Shannon Prickett
* Werewolves Rising, by Jimmy Ronald
* What happened in 1984, by Hunter Hoke

Keep in mind that there's potential prize money. For info on that, or to download the introductions if you didn't already get a chance to play them, visit the IntroComp site at http://allthingsjacq.com/introcomp/

See you in 2014.

I considered posting a link to the Umineko video or the Evangelion video but decided to just say
