Maybe I'm a masochist or something, but I went through and drafted a walkthrough for a not-at-all well received game that some may remember as Escape from Camelot (no relation to the recent Summer Comp game). Granted, its cold reception was fairly well deserved, as the game featured truly sparse implementation, characters with ridiculously long names, no synonyms, four duplicate characters, and only 21 implemented tasks (again, no synonyms or wiggle room on the input). 5 of these tasks kill the player without warning. The ending is reachable very early on, resulting in an epilogue that makes no sense. Lack of playtesting is obvious.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we really wish the author(s) had joined us on the forum so we could have helped him/her (Laura T. or Caleb?) learn to use ADRIFT. As is, the game may itself be a lesson in poor design.

If anyone is interested in the walkthrough, send me a PM and I can shoot it your way. Or, if people prefer, I could just post it here on the forum.

Since it has been reviewed recently, I thought some might be interested in seeing how deep the rabbit hole goes. Here's what an entire, winning playthrough of Escape from Camelot actually looks like... adventurers beware!

Escape From Camelot
The suspicious six are at it again. Only this time they get caught. Your group members are hidden somewhere in camelot castle and you must find them before it's too late!

> look
Dungeon
You wake up and find yourself in a dungeon. It is dark and dingy in here, judging by the horrible smell and the inky blackness, the dungeon is located at the bottom of the castle, several metres underground. In the darkness you can just make out a shape sitting on the uneven floor tiles. A man is slumped in the corner.

> look at tiles
When you look at the tiles, you notice that the one you are standing can be lifted.

> lift tile
When the tile is lifted, it reveals a hole just big enough for you to fit through.

> d
You move down.
Hallway
You are in a busy hallway. If anyone sees you here you will immediately be sentenced to death. In the corner there is a statue just big enough for you to hide behind.There are doors leading north, north east, east, south and west.

> hide behind statue
When you look behind the statue, you see that something, or someONE is in your way.

> look at someone
You look at the person hiding behind the statue and you see that it is your partner in crime who was also sentenced to a life in the dungeons. He must have escaped aswell.

You move northeast.
Store room
You look around and notice that you are in a large store room. The store room is cluttered with jousting sticks and armour. In the corner there is a cabinet.

> open cabinet
You open Medium sized cabinet. Tiny key and Large Key are inside Medium sized cabinet.

> get tiny key
You take Tiny key from Medium sized cabinet.

> get large key
You take Large Key from Medium sized cabinet.

> sw
You move southwest.
Hallway
You are in a busy hallway. If anyone sees you here you will immediately be sentenced to death. In the corner there is a statue just big enough for you to hide behind.There are doors leading north, north east, east, south and west. You are looking for your partners in crime.

> w
You move west.
Grand court room
You look around and see a throne in the center of the room, placed beside the throne are several chairs for important relations of the king. The chairs are currently empty but you can just see someone crouched behind the throne, maybe you should get a closer look. You may go west.

> w
You move west.
West wing
When you go through the door you are lead to the West wing which is where the Prince and Princess sleep, you see a large cupboard in the corner. If you get caught here you will most certainly be sentenced to death.

> unlock cupboard
When you unlock the cupboard, a large figure topples out. The figure appears to be one of your group members.

You move east.
Grand court room
You look around and see a throne in the center of the room, placed beside the throne are several chairs for important relations of the king. The chairs are currently empty but you can just see someone crouched behind the throne, maybe you should get a closer look. You may go west.

Hallway
You are in a busy hallway. If anyone sees you here you will immediately be sentenced to death. In the corner there is a statue just big enough for you to hide behind.There are doors leading north, north east, east, south and west. You are looking for your partners in crime.

East wing
When you go east you find yourself in the East wing which is where the King's special visitors sleep. If you don't get a move on you will be caught and, well, you know what will happen. In the eastern corner there is a door.

Side room
You go north and find yourself in a small side room. You aren't sure what the purpose of this room is, but you can see a chair in the eastern corner and a table at the opposite side of the room.

It is a table with various things scattered on it. A crowbar lies on it looking very out of place. A Crowbar is on the Table.

> get crowbar
You take the Crowbar from the Table.

> w
You move west.
East wing
When you go east you find yourself in the East wing which is where the King's special visitors sleep. If you don't get a move on you will be caught and, well, you know what will happen. In the eastern corner there is a door.

> w
You move west.
Hallway
You are in a busy hallway. If anyone sees you here you will immediately be sentenced to death. In the corner there is a statue just big enough for you to hide behind.There are doors leading north, north east, east, south and west. You are looking for your partners in crime.

> n
You move north.
Courtyard
You look around and see a cluster of trees to the west, and a trapdoor below you that is emmitting a terrible smell. The trees are so high that you could probably see the whole kingdom if you climbed them.

> open trapdoor
You open the trapdoor and you are led to a sewerage pipe.

> e
You move east.
Training Area
This must be the place where the knights train for their battles. To your east is a storage shed. Around you, the kights are too busy training to notice you, this is lucky because if they saw you...

Storage tent
This is where the knights keep their armour and weapons, it is bigger in here than it appeared outside. There is a flap leading to the north.

You move north.
Storage tent 2
This shed is much the same as the last, except there is someone crouched in the corner.

> look at person crouched in corner
It is one of your group members.

You move south.
Storage tent
This is where the knights keep their armour and weapons, it is bigger in here than it appeared outside. There is a flap leading to the north.

You move west.
Training Area
This must be the place where the knights train for their battles. To your east is a storage shed. Around you, the kights are too busy training to notice you, this is lucky because if they saw you...

On the round table are some mugs that probably shouldn't have been left there. Inside the mugs is some sweet smelling liquid that makes you quite thirsty. You see a hole in the roof. Also here is a Mugs.

You climb through the hole and find yourself in a secret room. Your last companion is in here.

You scored 5 out of the maximum 5!
That is 100% of the game!
