I'm considering writing a game either from the point of view of a blind player, or simply without light sources at all.

Ideas?

saw this project at PAX East. Echolocation for navigation. Probably cooler with a wiimote, but still original.

Also, gru.

I don't know. I was thinking something like this maybe:

It is dark. You can't see anything. You feel a draft from the east.

>EAST

Your leg bumps into something hard. It hurts.

>EXAMINE SOMETHING

You feel around in the darkness and realize the thing you bumped into is a chair.

duncan_b's headless teenager game in Ectocomp 2010 (my vote for the win) had you navigating without your head. Pretty awesome.

Play Aayela by Magnus Olsson. It's set largely in the dark.
