So okay, I'll get to this as quick as possible.

Let me post here a /direct/ transcript, and then point out the problem.

Code: Select all
gaze upon Elliot
He looks back at you with a menacing look. Oh ****.

gaze at Elliot
I don't understand what you want to do with Elliot West.

The reason this bothers me?

This line.

Code: Select all
[look at/watch/gaze at/gaze upon] Elliot

"gaze upon" works, but not "gaze at". Is there something I'm missing here?

This also happens with the line
Code: Select all
[whack/hit/thwack/smash] Elliot [with/using] {the} [bottle/glass/beer bottle/whiskey]

Help would be greatly appreciated...

Just write the task as "* gaze * elliot *" and "* gaze * west *". It will probably save you a lot of trouble.

Keeping the task amounts down would be great, because I don't think it would be really necessary to have 4 tasks do the same thing... :oh-no:

Nevermind I fixed the whole deal with the gazing. I just had to add the synonyms that went with it. But another problem popped up.

I want to have a puzzle where it's like "clean counter with rag" and I'm using this line: [clean/wipe down/wash] {the} [%counter% with] {the} [%rag%]

It tells me I can't clean the counter. What can I do to fix this cr*p? XD

[clean/wipe down/wash] {the} [%counter% with] {the} [%rag%]

Objects names do not require curly brackets, only variables. Variable names are allowed, though.

Also, this can be done with one task. If you know how already, skip the following:

Create a task with the name "* gaze * elliot*" and then, after typing in that name, press enter. The writing will disappear from the line. Then type in "* gaze * west*". Then click "Update Task".

Orly now? The only "curly brackets" I see though that even match your post are the %'s though. The percentage sign.

Unless there's lingo here I'm not catching.

Well don't I feel like a thicko. I knew I could do this all along, and yet...

Did I say curly brackets? I meant percent signs. Yeah.
