Campbell, do you have any idea why ADRIFT appears to be 12,043.00 MB in Add or Remove Programs?

It is actually listed twice, once as ADRIFT Size: 3.62MB and once as ADRIFT (C:\Program Files\ADRIFT) Size 12,043.00MB. The first has an ADRIFT icon and the second a metallic sphere icon.

I hope it isn't really taking up that much space!

Hmm, that doesn't sound right. Can you send me a screenshot? Do you know if it has actually taken up that much space? The only place it should be writing out would be XML for the window layout etc in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ADRIFT or similar.

The 3.62Mb version is more likely to be v4, as v5 is about 10Mb.

I think they're both v4. Here's a screenshot:

I've uninstalled once and reinstalled but got the same result. I'm using Window XP and the actual file thankfully isn't anywhere near that big. Interesting one though.

Bizarre. I'd say that's more likely to be incorrect reporting from the registry, especially with that strange icon, but please let me know if you do find files that have been created. The only place this would happen in v4 would be in the temp directory, with files such as _g*** or _s***, which are extracted sound and graphics files, altho these should be tidied up when the application exits.
