I tried to create a task where you give a character an item, and they give you an item.

The task was given the command "Give %Bowl of fries% to %Umo the tengu%

The effect being the fries going to hm and the scissors he's holding going to you.

But when i tried to do it in a test run, it came back with "Umo the tengu doesn't seem interested in bowl of fries"

I believe the percent marks mean to identify them as the character or object, right? It gave the same message when i removed them, too.

I hate to double post, but it won't let me edit my post.

I got the task to run, but i had to use rather advanced techniques, but it works and wasn't so bad. So problem solves, I suppose.

Try:

Actions:
Move Bowl of fries carried by Umo the tengu
Move scissors carried by player.

Restrictions:
Bowl of fries must be held by player
scissors must be held by Umo the tengu

Edit: You solved the broblem, good. This is how I would do it.

Programmers are in a race with the Universe to create bigger and better idiot-proof programs, while
the Universe is trying to create bigger and better idiots. So far the Universe is winning.

I already knew how to do that, it seems my problem was just getting the game to recognize all the terms for umo the tengu and bowl of fries.

Also, about getting my game online, is there somewhere here I'm supposed to upload it or should I just give it to a site like mediafire or something?

%object% is a keyword, so %yourobjectname% doesn't mean anything.
