Unexpected email???

Postby R2T1 » Wed May 06, 2020 5:50 am

I received an email today requesting that I review a game I recently downloaded.
Only problem is - I haven't downloaded anything for over a month or more.

WEIRD. :?

Anyone else get any emails like this?

I've got a few of those too. although with games I have downloaded. I don't know if it's a default thing with the Adrift website. I'll ask Campbell (if I can get hold of him that is  )
When was the last time you downloaded a game?
D-Day in progress 86Kb (Slowly drifting)

I don't remember exactly. I do look at various ones from time to time and after reading the synopsis usually decide they aren't as expected by the title. The one in question this time was "Dreamspun" which I know I didn't d/l yet as I haven't had time to play much at this time. My wife has suddenly found all these DIY jobs for me to fill my days.

I seem to get these pretty much at random. Sometimes I'll download a game but never receive an email requesting me to review it. Other times, I'll get an email out of the blue when I haven't downloaded a game in months.
