My Internet hasn't been working since last Tuesday so I wasn't able to post this earlier. The reason for my Internet not working? Intel Pentium IV 2.0 Ghz processor, 512Mb DDR RAM, 16xDVD, 40GBHDD. There were some problems but everything is working great now. Really great. Getting a GeForce4 at the start of next month! :D

This is the contest part of the challenge and here you will choose which story you liked best. There will be no more entries into the competition but if you want you can still add more stories to the Non-stop writing challenge/contest post. Because of limited poll answers you will just have to reply to this post to say which story you liked best. The stories are:

Wasted
Pyre
Becky
Simon
Hide andd Seeeeekk
Falling
The Dance
Harbinger
Lies
Home Sweet Home
Traveller
Theft
Innocent
Gina
My Life
Meat
The Old Man
Death Row
My Best Friend
Don’t Believe Us. Believe In Yourself.
No Time To Say Goodbye

Now vote!

EDIT: And tell me if I've missed any of the stories.

Say, uh, are the authors allowed to vote, or is that considered uncouth?

BTW, that's a mean piece of machinery you've got there!

The authors can vote for any story they did not write themselves.

I forgot one thing!!! This poll closes next Monday as soon as I'm done working (11:00 AM -> 10:00 PM( :( )). I will put in a reply at that time to tell you the poll has closed.

Drat. Uh, is there any chance it could be moved to Sunday night? I'm leaving Monday morning for a one-week trip, and would kind of like to know the results before I go.

Echo, you lucky boob. I have a P2 400 mhz, okay? This PC is so bad it hurts!
You missed my story Believe, but it doesn't really matter (unless anyone was going to vote for that one...)

Would it be okay with all the authors if I put all the stories (including Harbringer...for a little laugh) on my upcoming site?

You know, Echo, you could just ask all the authors to choose the one story that they wish to submit, and then just make an actual poll using that information. It would make it so that one author can't claim first, second, and third place with their various stories. In addition, all the votes would be anonymous, so there would be no hard feelings.

I agree.
...although maybe each author could select 2 stories. That would make for a little more variety. But I'm cool with whatever you decide...

How many did send in stories?

EDIT: I cound seven. Am I right? I'm really tired so I can't really bother to check again.

So I guess the authors just choose the story they want to use and I make a poll. Unfortunately there can only be 10 poll choices so there will be just one story for each author.

That works. I choose "Gina".

Oh, and about that deadline thing ... would it be possible to be Sunday night? That still gives a good three days in which to vote (which is more than enough, in my opinion). Pretty pretty please?

"Theft" is up as my entry.

Sunday's fine by me.
In related news, Kenneth Ham reveals that he knows precisely squat about fossils. Film at eleven.

That's Poodle's lovely avatar up there...

Please do not include mine- No Time to Say Goodbye- In the competition or on your site. It was very hard to write because it is a true story.
