I tried using it to design maps, but honestly designing maps in Adrift is easy enough for me that it was a bit redundant to do them beforehand in a separate ap. I still prefer to sketch maps out on paper if I do any planning of maps outside of the generator.

I have found, however, that it has done wonders for laying out puzzles and plot lines. It helps me a great deal to have a visual representation of all the choices a player can make, and the different resulting directions that the story can then take. My WIPs have benefited greatly from this, as I have been able to see the areas of the story that were lacking depth and the areas of the story that had a bit ... er.. too much.
