Hm... I don't know. I generally only play by second edition revised rules, in which case all players must start at King's Cross.

Isn't King's Cross the only place you're NOT allowed to start? Maybe that was only under the international ruleset.

Before you play Mornington Crescent it is assumed that because it was Monday yesterday you will know that the short rules only apply and from the 2nd turn in reverse order during July. Please also remember rule 7b: All Egyptian moves are disallowed except crossovers and double takes.
Please avoid all surface lines that back onto Mrs Trellis's home between 7pm and 7am on a Tuesday.

Too bad that's not my own...

A moot point, I think, as players around the world typically recognize The Mornington Crescent League's official statement from 1973 condemning Egypt's involvement in the 'October War' and 'symbolically suspending indefinitely all Egyptian rules-additions'.

I mean, personally, I think we should just get over it, what with Sadat being long-dead and all, but I guess I'm too young to really know.

The Mornington Crescent League's official statement from 1973 is completely irrelevant here, obviously you're taking the "ground rights" from the standard amendment, whereas the "Metropolitan" clause quite clearly states that "All circulatory lines must converge between West Brompton and Blackfriars.", therefore making the "Tudor Court" standard null and void.

"Clapham Common".

"Bakerloo". And freeze "Paddington".

Damn, no Paddington?

Hmm ok well it's still close enough to Wimbledon season for me to slide to Parsons Green, assuming of course that "No duds" was in effect from the start (which Clapham Court to Bakerloo would imply).

PS I will be posting EVERY DAY now, it's been far too long since I had a decent game of MC!
Do you know who I am?!

I've forgotten...

I'm afraid you're disqualified under the 2008 revised edition 'Clone wars' rules enhancement, which clearly state that the 'Holy trinity' of Clapham common, Clapham South and Clapham North cannot be used before the 'unholy double' of Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec.

Sorry. ]:)
