A 'double blinder' ey? I've been in contact with the 1947 champion of Mornington Cresent and she say's that as good as a double blinder is (especially played after an unholy trinity) the term 'freeze Tooting Bec.' was phased out due to confusion over the word 'freeze' in this context. Although still legally viable it no longer has the 'whopping' impact it once possessed. Therefore I play the 'Sailors' card:
I know that's normally frowned upon as a defence, but given how much freezing was going on I figured it was either that or Stoneleigh.
Game in the works - Project Clocks - on hold for a bit.
Game finished - I am the Law for the OddComp. Looking forward to finishing Clocks so I can show what I can really do!
Current focus - Some microIF. Short experiments to test ideas and actually release something!
Charing Cross. And freeze Elephant and Castle. Take that, Sprite!
Bloodhounds can make you laugh and cuss in the same breath. They are endearing, faithful, and can sling drool ten feet in any direction. -- Virginia Lanier
Hunh. Wait, doesn't that put us in a strait-shift lockdown? Unless I slide to goodge street, I suppose. Goodge street then. BUT I'm playing a Phoenix Card, and unlocking the Jubilee. Ought to give us a bit of breathing room.
