Thanks Campbell, that was a fantastic read. Unfortunately kids don't really like to read much these days, especially growing up in a world of graphical video games. I'm glad that they used this different approach and that it was such a great success. I'd just bet that this group of kids will be our future interactive fiction writers. Well done! :claps:

Very interesting read indeed. I can agree to their conclusions.
One of the main reasons Roberta and Ken (I think his name is) from Sierra On-Line, started the Kings Quest series, and the general adventure series as well, was to help kids learn to read and write better. (at least that's what I read in an interview back in the 80's)
It was great reading that kids can still be excited about IF, and like Myst say, wonder if there's not one or two future IF writers amongst them.
Just the other day my grandson, age 16, asked if he could have a go at RtC... Can you imagine the expression on my face? :shock:
So I guess that IF still has a chance...
