Adrift on MAC

Postby Iyone » Thu Sep 29, 2011 11:43 pm

Hello, I'm a new user, just starting out in the lovely land of computer programming.

I was wondering if ADRIFT works on a MAC in terms of both playing the games and designing them. Also, how much programming experience would be needed for a newb like me need to get going on ADRIFT?

Thanks guys. I'd appreciate any help or suggestions people can give as I start out with this! X3

Hi Iyone,

ADRIFT games can only be designed on Windows I'm afraid. You can play the games on a Mac using WebRunner (or Scare/Gargoyle if playing v4 games). The Linux version of Runner should actually run on the Mac using Mono, but I haven't put an official version up as I haven't been able to test it properly.
