Premature Newyear resolution

Postby P/o Prune » Tue Dec 11, 2012 8:25 am

Ok, this is it... I'm making a premature newyears resolution...
Let it be known to all that once I've surfaced from the Christmas lunch with my fly-buddies Dec. 15. I will continue work on D-Day!
Let it also be known that I plan to have the game released on June 6 2013.

Should I fail this, I will go out into the woods and eat winegum till I die

I hope you make it! I made a new years resolution a few years back to not make any more new years resolutions. It's the only resolution that I have ever kept.

My New Year's resolutions are:

1) To finally start writing games again and not just thinking about writing them.

2) To finish off some of the works in progress that have been cluttering up my hard drive for years. It's surprising how close to completion some of them are, yet I haven't touched them in ages.

3) To start regularly reviewing games again. I must have played a dozen games over the last year that I fully intended to review when I'd finished them, but I never got round to writing any.

It would certainly be nice to see our games popping up again, David!

Resolutions:

1.) Finish v5 Aegis remake.
2.) Finish at least one of my uncompleted projects.
3.) Write at least three reviews.
4.) Do not get involved in any other projects or even log back into this forum until at least one of the above things are accomplished.

Luckily it's not New Year's yet, so I can still post! And I should be able to conquer my crippling ADD long enough to at least crank out those three reviews fairly soon...or at least I hope so because I think I'm pretty much going to have to spam the board with questions in order to make any real progress on my main WiP. I just spent more time than I care to admit figuring out how to measure and pour liquid from one container to another...in a world with only one kind of liquid and exactly two containers. Tomorrow will see the addition of multiple pitchers and buckets and things to pour in them and I'm already anticipating a broken mess.
