Move Charcter To Same Location As Another Character

Hi all,

While working on debugging one of my games I discovered that there is no action MOVE CHARACTER charactername TO SAME LOCATION AS CHARACTER charactername. I tried to MOVE CHARACTER charactername TO SAME LOCATION AS OBJECT objectname, but this doesn't work.

Has this been reported as a bug/enhancement?

How do other Drifters get around this problem if they need to?

Any help much appreciated.

The following action works:

[move][character][Referenced Character 1][to same location as][Referenced Character 2]

I attach an example taf file:

Thanks for that, Denk, but it would only work if the command referenced the names of the characters. I need the action for a FOLLOW SOUND task where the location of the character making the sound could be one of many.

Hi all,

I fixed it. I was using the restriction MOVE CHARACTER name TO SAME LOCATION AS OBJECT name, and had referenced a static object that was part of the character. Campbell has yet to implement this so I changed the referenced object to a dynamic object that was on the character, and it worked.
