Passing of a master

Postby rotter » Thu Dec 27, 2012 10:12 am

Gerry Anderson, Thunderbirds creator, dies

His shows were an important part of my childhood. The imagination and the vision made for great entertainment. In my opinion an undervalued genius. Very sad news.

I am old enough to remember his early TV puppet shows such as "Twizzle" "Torchy the Battery Boy" and "Four Feather Falls", which were followed by "Supercar", "Fireball XL5" and "Stingray", etc.

We have lost a couple of Great Men recently, Sir Patrick Moore being the other.
OUT NOW: Run, Bronwynn, Run!
Current W.I.P.: Magnetic Moon
Also available: The Axe of Kolt, The Spectre of Castle Coris, The Fortress of Fear, Die Feuerfaust - The Fist of Fire and The Lost Children

I just remember Supercar, but started properly at Fireball XL5.
