Another thing is that if we're going to make the slightest impact on the IFComp 2011 we all need to help make the games as good as possible.
Which means volunteering to help beta test the games.

Is anyone, beside Phkp and myself, planning to enter?

The IFComp 2011 site is now up, so it gives you all the info and deadlines:

http://ifcomp.org/

I would definitely like to see 1+ Adrift games in there. I just like to see games from a variety of sources.

If I can get motivated I'd be happy to join in on the proceedings.

Very interesting. I'm intrigued.

I missed Ectocomp and Prof. Prune's comp because I was working on other games but now I'm free to start a new project. And an adventure game is what I had planned to work on next.

I believe I will expand the little adventure game I was going to do for Prof. Prune's comp and see how far I can get it done by September. Absolutely no promises though as games always seem to take twice as long to complete than I originally planned for. :haha:

Well, I know for a fact that there are at least two Adrift games entering the 2011 comp, but of course it would be great if more would enter.
Don't forget, the annual IF Comp is a sure way to get your game evaluated and reviewed.

Pilot Officer it is! Sorry about trying to make you a professor.

Shows you just how much I pay attention to detail. Hire me as your beta tester at your own risk!

(sigh) I suppose it is possible that I will have an entry for the comp this year.

That leaves us with at least three Adrift games to enter the IFComp this year.... This is pretty good isn't it? :D
