The home of ADRIFT is run by Campbell Wild, the creator of the programs. From here you can download the latest versions as well as the latest games. The forum is a lively place where many topics are discussed.
InsideADRIFT newsletter site
This site is the home of the newsletter of the ADRIFT community. It has a forum that acts as a backup for anytime this site is down. There is rather popular and fun chatbox feature and a Flash chat room for online meetings, which allows private rooms for one to one chats. The dowloads are has recently had the games for most of the ADRIFT competitions added to it.
Online ADRIFT Reference Site (O.A.R.S)
Recently revived, this site is intended to bring together tutorials and other reference material to assist ADRIFT users.
Shadow Vault
David Whyld's site is a very comprehensive reference site for anyone looking at ADRIFT games. It includes various statistics on virtually every released game and a large collection of game walkthroughs and game reviews. In addition it is the home of the Reviews Exchange, a publication filled with ADRIFT game reviews.
KF ADRIFT on the Web
A long standing site, although it's ADRIFT content is less than it was as the webmaster (KF) concentrates more on the InsideADRIFT site.
General Interactive Fiction Sites
Newsgroup:rec.arts.int-fiction is the place where general, as well as specific interactive fiction authoring topics are discussed. It tends not to be overly friendly to ADRIFT, so you may need a tin helmet if you start to post.
Newsgroup:rec.games.int-fiction is aimed more at the game player.
Brass Lantern is an excellent site looking at the interactive fiction world.
Baf's guide to the IF Archive is a great searchable resource which holds reviews to many of the games in the IF Archive.
The Interactive Fiction Archive is a repository for a large amount of IF related material including a huge collection of games. <br]
IF Competition is the site for the major interactive fiction competition. Entries in by late Sep, judging during Oct/Nov with results mid Nov.
XYZZY News an online magazine for interactive fiction enthusiasts.
SPAG (Society for the Promotion of Adventure Games) is an informative e-zine designed primarily to keep the gaming public aware of text adventures available today.
