Re: Ectocomp

Hello all, Just to be sure that it isn't overlooked, I have an entry for EctoComp 2011, but it's not an actual file to be run in Inform 7 or Adrift. It's actually just a url to a web-based CYOA style game. The url is https://sites.google.com/site/justahackwriter/ There might have been some confusion...

Re: the virtual human-- ADRIFT 5 version!

I am looking at the IFDB (I don't know how I was oblivious to its existence) and am looking at your entry there. Did you give yourself two stars or something? I will definitely put some thought into a well written review for your entry at the IFDB :D

Re: the virtual human-- ADRIFT 5 version!

I played through and thought it was interesting. I have a question. Is the intention of Virtual Human to simulate the ... formulation of perception of the world, influenced by the surrounding environment (e.g the color of the room), through imparting feelings and what is important to the virtual hum...

I did pop in around 9am but no one was in there. I did notice the new posts here and thought to pop in again for a few moments, but by then I was running a little close to the time I leave the home by.

So, maybe next week! (Since I have my day off then)

Personally (and I don't think this is anything particularly deep...

I think Emily is correct in her assessment. I think unless someone comes up with a really awesome parser that understands english in all its context sensitive glory, this issue will just be a typical consequence of using a natural language parser. At that moment though, I don't see anyone coming up...
