Off the top of my head you have to make a restriction in the buy task where the number of coins mus be more than or equal to (the lowest amount of the price.) If the restrictions isn't met you can write the reply: You haven't got enough money to buy that (whatever it is)
Does this make sense?

Re: P/o Prune's mini competition

Time is running out, guys.

How are your games coming along?
So far we have three contestants: Lazzah, Denk and myself. Is this all? (Just curious)

Re: how to add password protection
Hi.
Welcome to our little cozy corner of the IF universer.
To add a password to you game, you open the developer and then in the top left hand corner click on the Adrfit icon. A list of option will come into view. Click on the "protect adventure" and write a password.
Hope this helps.

Re: Browser
Hi. And welcome to our little corner of the IF universe. I hope you will enjoy your stay. :yeah: As for your question regarding a browser. It is possible to export your game as an .exe file thus allowing people to play it without having to install the runner. However! Bear in mind that the Adrift .e...

Re: P/o Prune's mini competition
There was some confusion about the starting date, so I thought that the post on April 1st was a mistake. Also, I always look at the first post to see rules, deadlines etc. In the future, I think it is good to always edit the 1st post if something changes such as the deadline. Denk is absolutely rig...

Re: P/o Prune's mini competition
I am still working on mine, but not finished. I wouldn't complain if you added an extra week  , which perhaps those nearly finished or would like some more time to bug fix/polish their entries in the meantime. I'm ok with it. But what do the other participants think? I have been working on...

Re: Stuck in Axe of Kolt
Over on intfiction.org I see somebody is playing this game online but is looking for help. Check it out here Thanks R2T1, I am now in contact with Stefan, the guy who posted the request. BTW he is blind and he is the third blind player of my games I have been in contact with. Ok, I know I may be ou...

Re: A Return to Positivity
<snip> I just wish things were like they were in the old days. Regular updates, lots of new games and a feeling that it was a cool system to use and not one that seems to have been largely abandoned by its creator. So well said, David. I guess we (Drifters) can't do much about the updates, but we c...

Re: Change location descr. from light to dark?
Honestly I really prefer not to deal with anything based on real life time passage in games like these. It's not that you will have to solve a puzzle before the light goes out. And there's always the option of using the >undo command. See it like you enter a location. You have x seconds to memorize...

Re: Change location descr. from light to dark?
Certainly. Do you mean realtime seconds or just a number of turns? Or perhaps the light should turn off right after the location description has been given? Real time. I want to give the player time to read the location description as it may hold some clues. If you want realtime seconds you should ...

Change location descr. from light to dark?
I wonder if it is possible to change a location property while the player is still at said location? For example. The player enters a lit room and get the room description. In the room is a character (an enemy, for instance) This character turns off the light thus leaving the location in darkness. S...

Re: Other systems?
Well if it was a troll post and not just an innocent question, it was entirely successful and you guys made them really happy now that it's gotten all these reactions and even started an argument. Yep. Anyways, I've sent an email to Lilith regarding her post (nice and polite  ) So let'...
