Re: Into 2019

Hey Lazzah, how is the conversion of Sphinx Adventure to ADRIFT going? Is it still a work in progress?

Re: New year resolutions

Well David, it would be great if you at least accomplished 1 and 2.
My resolution is much more attainable. I intend to get back into this community again after many years away.
Probably won't get to writing another game, but who knows?

Re: Backwards Compatibility

First off, thank you Campbell for fixing whatever I did wrong. Second of all, what the heck was I thinking?!? That game really was over-everything! Over written, over thought, over annoying! Hmmm. I am thinking that maybe I should just do something small. Short, simplistic and to the point, and char...

Re: Backwards Compatibility

Ugh...I just reread the reviews for the first time in a long time. 50/50 it seems. Maybe I bit off more than I could chew in trying to recreate how I remembered IF in the 1980s. Live and learn. My next game is going to be a one room game. Good idea or bad?

I guess. Not necessary to repeat the command though. I assumed the player would choose their next move based on the location description.

Re: Backwards Compatibility

Yes David I totally agree! I know better now. After a long hiatus from ADRIFT I'm getting the urge to write again.

Backwards Compatibility

My game got mostly negative feedback but I still wish it was able to run in V5. Maybe it's the way I designed the intro I don't know, but it doesn't work in V5 :x

Hate to burst your bubble, but it is probably never going to happen. There hasn't been any info since November of last year.

Wasn't there a thread a while back where people could place pins on a map of the world indicating where they were from? I tried a search but couldn't find it.
