Ok. Let's spice things up a little around here.
In my next entry for the IF Comp 2021, one of the characters is the butler.
I'll give 10 points to the one coming up with the best, and most original name.
P.s.
It can't be James. That's the chauffeur

I read this on wikipedia:
"Employers and their children and guests addressed the butler (and under-butler, if there was one) by last name alone; fellow servants, retainers, and tradespersons as "Mr. [Surname]"."
So I guess you only need his last name.
Perhaps Mr. Hudson? (inspired by Sherlock Holmes' landlady)

When I first read the title of this post, my first thought was, you wanted a name for a mini competition you were going to start.
My suggestion for a butler name Mr Saynomore
Same, we should have one of those. I might be able to arm twist a couple of new people into making the attempt.

And the butler should be Alfred Copperworth.
I wouldn't mind setting up a competition: P/o Prunes mini competition (That is is people thinks it's a good idea.)

Perhaps a 48 hour one or maybe 7 days (to allow for playtesting, as playing broken games isn't as fun as something at least has had some period of bug fixing etc).
Maybe make a poll for that, which also would double for level of interest.
